My Qualifications

I have been a real estate broker for over 30 years, beginning my real estate career by working for one of the largest new home builders in Oregon. Not only did this company build homes but also mobile home parks, shopping centers, apartments and golf course communities. The experience I gained and the positions I held gave me a broad knowledge of land development, property management, building construction, customer service and satisfaction and how a home's value can be increased by bringing it to its’ fullest potential. I am a 5 year recipient of the Five Star Real Estate Professional Agent Award. In addition I hold the Certified Residential Specialist designation and  the Certified Negotiation Expert designation.   I am familiar with condominium associations, budgets and condominium management. I have been a Board member and a member of the Declaration and Bylaw Revisions Committee of a condominium association of which I am an owner. I am a real estate investor and a landlord and believe in real estate investments as an essential part of anyone's portfolio. 

 

My Philsophy

I consider myself very lucky to love what I do for a living. I am enthusiastic about helping people find just the "right" home or sell their home "successfully". Commitment to my clients, attention to detail, excellent communication and exceptional service distinquishes me in the real estate field. The majority of my business comes from satisfied repeat clients and their family and friends that they have referred to me. It is the greatest compliment to be considered their 'trusted real estate advisor". This is my goal with every new client. I want to earn their trust.

 

About Me

I am a native Portlander, married with two grown daughters and 4 grandchildren that I adore. My favorite pastimes are cooking for family and friends, gardening, decorating, reading and traveling throughout the world. I am a past president of the Oregon Episcopal School PTG, a two year Military Selection Committee member for an Oregon Senator, a 30+ year volunteer for Trillium Family Services and a board member of Trillium Family Services Foundation Board (The Parry Center for Children and Children's Farm Home). I am a passionate supporter of programs that benefit children with mental health issues.
