Laura has a history of helping people. Providing opportunities for personal development in health, recreation, education, and fitness over the past 40 years, Laura has helped others on their journeys. She is excited about real estate, navigating and guiding people in their quest for new homes and new beginnings. 

Portland has been Laura’s home for the past 22 years. She knows the city well as she and her husband raised their sons in both Southeast and Northwest neighborhoods. Originally from Chicago, Laura finds Portland meets her need for city life with easy access to nature. 

Laura’s degree is in Natural Resources from Ball State University where she was captain of the track and field team. She has held positions of Recreation Director, Communications Director, Health Promotion Specialist, Executive Director and Event Planner for municipalities and non-profit organizations. The past 8 years Laura has worked for Portland Public Schools. 

Laura was a founding advisor of the Stand For Courage anti-bullying organization and she also coaches track and field. She loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, cooking, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs. Laura has been told by many who know her that her energy is not only positive but unending.
