Peter Sanders

Principal Broker

A seasoned professional; for over 30 years, Peter has an extensive personal and professional background in the acquisition and renovation of historically significant 19th & 20th century properties. This includes several designated as such by the National Historic Register. Starting in the late 70’s in Charleston, South Carolina, and on to the west coast and in 1991 to Portland, this experience serves his clients well. He has consistently been among “the top 10%” producers in the industry.

Professional Background
He studied at the School of Visual Arts and graduated from The Cooper Union in NYC with a BFA majoring in photography. He worked as a professional photographer in advertising, fashion, the performing arts, travel, architectural interiors, culinary and editorial work. He continues to do his personal photography work as time permits, and his work is represented in institutional, corporate and private collections here and in Europe. He was the owner/creative director of an advertising agency, which marketed a variety of real estate projects. He was a partner in a general contracting/design firm specializing in the restoration of historic properties. Peter’s background offers a unique combination of “real know how” which brings added value to his clients. He is a proven, thorough and fair negotiator for his clients – whether they are buyers or sellers – making sure that their best interests are met.

A Staunch Client Advocate
Peter’s clients always come first. Their testimonials are gratifying, but the fact that well over 95% of his business comes from their repeat business and their referrals is a constant reminder that being a real estate professional means service. To this end he constantly monitors the market and pays close attention to the details of each transaction.
